newpills2If your doctor has advised long-term drug therapy, repeat prescriptions can be ordered by telephone on Crewkerne (01460) 75739 between 9am and 12 noon or 3pm and 6pm, by fax, by the online form below, by post enclosing an S.A.E, or in person.

Please be sure to give full and accurate details of the medication you require, including the name and strength by referring to the tear-off slip on the back of your prescription. We recommend that you bring or send this slip to the Practice, deleting those items that you do not need, to ensure we issue you with your exact requirements.

Requests received will be ready for collection 48 hours later (2 working days). For example a request received on Monday will be ready for collection after 2pm on Wednesday and a prescription request received on Friday will be ready for collection after 2pm on the following Tuesday.

All the chemists in Crewkerne and the one in Merriott operate a collection service - contact them direct for details. Please make an appointment in good time if your doctor asks to review your medication before your next prescription is due. Please note that the doctors will not normally prescribe a new medication, or medication you have not taken for some time, without seeing you.

If choosing to collect your prescription from a local pharmacy, please ensure you contact the chosen pharmacy to ask them to collect this for you.  They will need an additional 24 hours from collection to ensure the prescription is ready for you to pick up (i.e. a total of 72 hours from ordering from the surgery)
